Description
- Own and deliver the month-end close process across multiple legal entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts for each individual entity, with a strong focus on balance sheet integrity and P&L accuracy.
- Perform detailed variance analysis at entity level, providing clear explanations and insight into monthly movements.
- Ensure appropriate accounting treatment and compliance with relevant accounting standards for each entity.
- Maintain and strengthen entity-level financial controls, processes, and reconciliations.
- Act as the primary finance contact for each legal entity, building a strong understanding of entity-specific activity and risks.
- Support statutory reporting requirements where required and liaise with auditors as part of the year-end process.
- Assist with regulatory returns where applicable (experience beneficial but not essential).
- Work closely with wider finance teams to ensure consistency and alignment across the group.
Profile
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with 2-5 years post-qualification experience.
- Strong experience delivering month-end accounting in a multi-entity or group environment.
- Confident working autonomously and taking ownership of multiple legal entities.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong balance sheet and reconciliation experience.
- Comfortable working in a role focused on monthly accounting rather than quarterly or annual reporting cycles.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial movements clearly to stakeholders.
- Experience with regulatory or statutory returns is advantageous but not essential.

- Competitive daily rate of £500 to £600, depending on experience (outside IR35).
