Job title: Supply Chain Manager

Job Type: Contract IR35 Status: Inside IR35

Start date: ASAP, Duration: 6 months, Location: Flintshire

Hybrid/Remote Working: Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote

Hours of work: 37 hours per week

We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to support a specialist organisation responsible for maintaining and supporting a wide range of avionics, electronics, and technical components.

The team plays a key role in ensuring operational capability across the UK's defence environment, delivering high quality and cost effective support solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain item data records within logistics information systems to support optimised through life supply chain operations.
  • Develop demand and supply plans for assigned equipment ranges, working within financial delegation limits and using approved planning tools.
  • Support the identification and implementation of optimal storage and distribution solutions based on operational requirements.
  • Produce customs documentation to ensure compliance with relevant regulations for moving inventory into and out of the UK.
  • Ensure all inventory is accurately accounted for, both materially and financially, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate timely inventory disposal activity and ensure all documentation and data is correctly completed.
  • Support the development of supply chain requirements for new or updated support solutions.
  • Conduct defined checks and audits to ensure adherence to supply chain policy and process.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience working within a supply chain or logistics environment.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage activity within defined budgets.
  • Competence in data handling, interpretation, and reporting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
  • Full UK driving licence.
