Job Description

We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join a friendly maintenance team within a manufacturing environment. This role involves maintaining a wide range of machinery, while also supporting the build of bespoke welding machines and site improvement projects.Maintenance Technician Hourly rate between £18-22ph39 hour working weekPermanent Aldershot, HampshireMaintenance Technician Job Description
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
  • Maintaining a range of machinery including lathes, mills, grinders, furnaces and wire-making lines
  • Supporting the mechanical assembly of bespoke welding machines
  • Helping manage the site maintenance schedule to reduce downtime
  • Identifying improvements to machinery and processes
  • Working closely with the maintenance and production teams
Maintenance Technician Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Strong mechanical maintenance experience within manufacturing or engineering
  • Experience maintaining manual or CNC machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders)
  • Experience with production machinery or furnaces would be beneficial
  • A hands-on approach, strong problem-solving skills and willingness to get involved
  • Mechanical engineering apprenticeship or Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
