Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting passionate and dedicated Supply Teachers for secondary schools across East London. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking flexible, day-to-day work in the education sector.
Role: Supply Teacher
Location: Chigwell, Plaistow
Type: Day-to-Day Work
Salary: 140 - 170 ( 97 - 110 if unqualified)
Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
- Ensure a positive learning environment and manage classroom behaviour.
- Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher.
- Support students with their work and answer any questions they may have.
- Maintain a safe and orderly classroom.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young people (preferably in an educational setting).
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools and classrooms.
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
