Family Solicitor
Location: Essex or London
Experience: 3+ PQE
A well-established and growing law firm with offices across Essex and London is looking to recruit an experienced Family Solicitor to join its busy and expanding Family department.
This role would suit a confident lawyer who enjoys running their own matters, values teamwork, and is looking to take the next step within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.
The role
You'll manage a varied family law caseload, handling matters from initial instruction through to conclusion, with the support of an experienced team around you.
Work will typically include:
- Divorce and separation matters
- Financial remedy proceedings
- Private children matters
- Cohabitation and relationship breakdown disputes
- Advising clients on a wide range of family law issues with sensitivity and clarity
You'll be trusted to work independently while collaborating closely with colleagues across the department.
What the firm is looking for
- Qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years' PQE in family law
- Comfortable managing files autonomously
- Strong technical knowledge of family law processes
- Confident, empathetic client-facing approach
- Well-organised and able to manage a busy caseload
- A team player who enjoys contributing to a growing department
