A well-established regional law firm is seeking a Commercial Disputes Solicitor to join its growing litigation team in Leeds. This opportunity offers exposure to a varied and high-quality commercial disputes caseload, advising businesses, directors, shareholders and individuals on complex contentious matters.
The team handles a broad range of disputes and is known for taking a strategic, commercially focused approach to resolving issues. Clients range from owner-managed businesses to larger companies across multiple sectors, with the team providing clear, pragmatic advice aimed at achieving the most effective outcome, whether through negotiation, alternative dispute resolution, or formal litigation where necessary.
The Role
You will manage a varied caseload of commercial litigation matters while working alongside experienced disputes lawyers on more complex and high-value cases. Typical work includes advising on:
The role will involve advising clients from the early stages of disputes through to resolution, including litigation in the High Court and County Court where required. The team places strong emphasis on early strategic advice and commercially sensible dispute resolution.
You will also play a role in supporting the continued growth of the disputes practice, helping to strengthen client relationships and contribute to the team's expanding reputation in the regional commercial litigation market.
