Counterbalance Forklift Drivers

ey Recruitment have a new opportunity for forklift drivers to join a large and well-known logistics and shipping company based in Portsmouth.

£14.50 per hour

Day shifts - 7am-6pm

Night shift - 6pm-6am

Shifts will be dependent on business requirements but will average at least 3 shifts per week.

Your role will include, but will not be limited to:

Discharge and loading of cargo with the aid of electric forklifts and electric pallet trucks

Ensuring correct and safe loading without damage

Attention to detail, especially when moving hazardous or fragile loads

Operating forklifts in and out of racking systems

Restacking/breaking down pallets

What you'll need:

In-date counterbalance forklift licence

Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse/logistics environment

Flexibility to work at all times of day, outside

Full induction to the company includes a 30-minute assessment and a short training session, to ensure you're knowledgeable in your new role.
