Engineering Change Controller Department: Engineering Reports To: Engineering Team Lead Location: Bordon, UK Summary: My client is a leading provider of power conversion products that are sustainable and efficient. Description: In this role, the Engineering Change Controller will provide product data coordination and management, including complex change management, obsolescence, new part setup, and product structuring, as well as being responsible for documentation control of ISO procedures. Responsibilities • Analyse and resolve data integrity issues • Drive engineering change processes and approvals • Ensure the proper storage and ease of retrieval of product and organizational data • Provide technical data setup support for printed circuit boards, subassemblies and other custom items • Continuously drive process improvements in design and production data documentation • Provide Product Data Management training and support to other personnel • Generating and amending Work Instructions • Administrating Engineering Change Notes and Deviation Requests • Filing and copying drawings • General Design Office support • Mechanical test support (vibration/thermal) and report writing • Generating parts lists • Creating magnetics drawings • Carry out any other duties that might reasonably be expected of a Draughts Person Quality Management System (QMS) Compliance & Maintenance • Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, requirements • Support the development, revision, and control of quality procedures, work instructions, and process documentation. • Ensure proper document control and record retention in accordance with QMS requirements. Key Competencies: • Ability to negotiate the resolution of engineering change concerns • Ability to communicate the urgency and importance of product documentation processes to ensure timely support • Ability to work with minimum supervision • Ability to evaluate and prioritize a variety of tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion, while managing frequent interruptions. • Ability to determine the most effective methods and procedures to follow to complete assignments Education/Experience: • GCSE/A Level and additional courses, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Engineering qualification /SolidWorks Experience • An interest in mechanical design and product manufacturing • 3 years above relevant experience • Basic knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain processes and ISO 9001 requirements • Operational experience with all the following computer application families: o Product Life Cycle Management / Product Data Management o Microsoft Excel o Microsoft Word o MechCAD Applications (SolidWorks) Essential: • Methodical structured approach to time management and task execution and ability to work to tight timescales. • Able to react and take decisions quickly whilst remaining cool, calm and collected. • Good interpersonal, organisation, communication and influencing skills. • Be a proactive and good communicator to drive projects and tasks to timely completion. • Confident dealing with people at all levels (internally and externally). • Self-motivated and able to work effectively as part of a team. Mechanical Engineer Wanted. Full-time Permanent Employment Opportunity. Core Hours: 37.5-Hours per week, Monday to Friday. We will consider Graduate Mechanical Engineer applications. Assist mechanical engineering development activities. Support existing products based on business requirements. Produce drawings and documentation for projects, including changes as required. Calculation of cost and timescales of design projects. Making and testing new equipment prototypes. Travel as required to client sites in the UK. QMS/IFS, design for manufacture and change embodiment. Essential Experience Needed: Understanding of technical drawings, documents, and product manufacture. MS Office (Word / Excel / Visio / PowerPoint) CRM database experience. Technical writing ability. Experience using AutoCAD / 2D Drawing / Inventor / 3D Modelling. Analytical approach to problem solving, strong numeracy and literacy skills. Able to engage with staff and fluent in English (written and verbal). Worked to deadlines and have prioritised workloads. UK Honours Degree in Engineering discipline. If this is you, our world leading client based in Bordon are currently recruiting for a Materials Handler! 38 hours per week 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday - Thursday 8.30am to 12.30pm Friday Working within the stores department, this role is a mix of both system based and practical tasks to do with the control of raw materials and production, from build and eventual dispatch. Your role focuses on three main areas: Logistics: Receiving, unpacking, and packing goods for subcontractors or customers. Stock Management: Using the Avante system to book parts, transfer stock, and perform daily cycle counts for accuracy. Production Support: Using a forklift or pallet stacker to move materials and "kitting" (picking/issuing) specific parts for the internal assembly teams. You'll need some warehouse and Microsoft Office experience, but all training is provided to ensure you are knowledgeable on your role.
