History Teacher

As a History Teacher, your responsibilities may include:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 advantageous)

• Teaching a broad and balanced History curriculum

• Bringing historical events, themes, and interpretations to life

• Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all students

• Assessing progress and providing constructive, meaningful feedback

• Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

• Managing behaviour in line with school policies

• Working collaboratively with departments and senior leaders

• Supporting pupils with additional needs where required

• Experience teaching History in a secondary school setting

• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for History education

• Two professional references covering the last two years
