Carpentry and Joinery Lecturer Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time Carpentry and Joinery Lecturer to work at a college in Hull, starting ASAP and likely lasting until at least June 202.5 Ideally the school are looking for a temporary to permanent deal, where the successful candidate will spend 12 weeks on a supply basis before committing to a permanent contract with the college. Payment for this position will be between 20 and 35 per hour depending on experience and qualifications, while on temporary, and ranging from 28,900 - 38,900 while on permanent. Working hours for this position will be 8:30 - 4:30, resulting in 35 hours per week. This role will primarily involve teaching Carpentry and Joinery to Level 2 and Level 3 BTEC students. Having experience within the sector is ideal for this role, as the role will involve practical teaching as well as theoretical. The College is located in Hull, and is central, meaning it is easy to reach via public transport from all areas of the city. There is a car park onsite, but there are often not spaces available. Parking at a very local car park is available, with spaces always available, and this can be paid as additional wages. SEN Teaching Assistant - Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire - PAYE - Long-term and Short-term work available Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Type: Full time / part time Salary: 90- 100 P/D PAYE Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire Tradewind are currently partnered with several outstanding mainstream and SEN schools in the Aylesbury area who are looking for motivated educators who can have a real impact on their SEN students. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working predominantly on a 1-1 basis with children with a range of different needs including ASD, ADHD, MLD and global learning delays. You will be responsible for following the child's educational health care plan and liaising with the SENDCO and parents where appropriate to provide feedback on progress. You will also be involved with any decisions regarding areas for improvement. These roles will be temporary in the first instance but for the strongest candidates, you will often be offered a permanent role with our partner schools. What do we look for in a SEN Teaching Assistant? A genuine interest in childcare and working with children with SEN A reliable person who can provide consistency for SEN Children Strong relationship builder with parents, staff and most importantly children Previous experience with SEN would be highly beneficial - whether in a personal or professional capacity. Examination Invigilators are responsible for maintaining the security of the examination question papers at all times and conducting examinations in accordance with examination board regulations. They help to ensure the right candidates are in the right place. They give out vital information such as start and finish times for exams and ensure that candidates have the materials and information they need. Sometimes you may be assisting students with reading exam papers and writing their responses which can be really rewarding. Please note that training will be provided. The salary for this work is 46 for a half day and 83 for a full day. You should be very reliable, a good timekeeper and able to work as a team. You should be able to follow instructions and also be able to follow the strict rules required.
