Cover Supervisor (Summer Term)

A well-regarded secondary school in Halifax is looking for a confident, reliable Cover Supervisor to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to play a key role in keeping lessons running smoothly across the school.

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll step into classrooms when teachers are absent, ensuring students stay on task and follow the work set. You'll manage the class, maintain routines, and support the school's behaviour expectations. No planning or marking required - just a steady presence, clear communication, and the ability to manage a classroom with confidence.

• Someone confident working with secondary-aged students
• Strong classroom presence and the ability to maintain order
• Clear communicator with a calm, consistent approach
• Reliable, adaptable, and happy to work across different subjects
• Experience in education or youth settings is beneficial but not essential

• Supportive SLT and a welcoming staff team
