The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students, helping them build confidence and achieve their academic potential. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality maths lessons in line with the curriculum
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual learners
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support students in developing problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to departmental planning
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Degree in Mathematics or a related field
- Previous teaching experience (preferred but not essential for strong candidates)
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
