Spencer Clarke Group are recruiting Unqualified EYFS Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs within Early Years settings in mainstream primary schools in Bromborough.
This role involves supporting children in Nursery or Reception who require structured, consistent support due to SEND, communication needs, developmental delay, sensory needs or behavioural challenges. Applicants must already have experience supporting children with additional needs.
Suitable backgrounds may include nursery settings, specialist early years provision, care settings, children's residential services or similar environments where safeguarding, behaviour management and emotional support are key.
Provide 1:1 and small group SEND support within EYFS classrooms.
Support children with communication, emotional regulation and social development.
Assist pupils with sensory, physical or developmental needs where required.
Support early phonics, language and numeracy through adapted activities.
Work alongside the class teacher to maintain structure and routine.
Promote independence while ensuring consistent, stable support.
Applicants must have experience supporting young children with:
SEND or additional learning needs
Speech, language or communication needs
Behavioural or emotional regulation needs
Physical, sensory or developmental needs
Care or residential support backgrounds involving children
Applications without relevant SEND or early years support experience will not be shortlisted.
