- Experience working waking nights
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and risk management
- Knowledge of housing support, budgeting and tenancy sustainment
- Confident with compliance, audits and documentation
- Ability to lead shifts and manage rotas
- Full right to work in the UK
The Role
We are supporting a homelessness service in Lancaster recruiting a Night Supervisor to oversee the safe and effective running of the service during waking night shifts.
This is a leadership position where you will take responsibility for the building, the residents and compliance standards overnight.
Duties include:
- Overseeing the safety and wellbeing of residents
- Completing building checks and health and safety audits
- Managing incidents and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed
- Supporting residents with budgeting, housing issues and tenancy sustainment
- Ensuring accurate record keeping and compliance documentation
- Leading the night team and overseeing shift rotas
- Liaising with day staff to ensure smooth handovers
This is a hands on role suited to someone confident working autonomously and capable of making sound decisions overnight.
