Senior Management Accountant - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)

Location: Evesham
Start Date: End of March

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join a thriving organisation on a 12 month maternity cover contract. This role is ideal for someone who can make an immediate impact within a busy, collaborative finance function and enjoys a broad mix of management accounting and operational finance work.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including journals and P&L commentary
• Complete and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage intercompany reconciliations across multiple regions
• Oversee stock invoice postings and investigate purchase price variances
• Support marketing budget tracking and run monthly budget meetings
• Prepare VAT returns for multiple countries
• Complete bank reconciliations (GBP & EUR)
• Produce daily sales reporting
• Process monthly commission payments across all markets
• Update weekly currency rates
• Conduct monthly debt reviews and support the Sales Ledger function
• Provide operational finance support including calls, queries, and ad hoc tasks
• Assist with the day to day running of the Finance Team

About You

• Qualified (ideally ACCA / CIMA but AAT and QBE would be considered for the right person
• Strong background in management accounting
• Excellent Excel skills with strong attention to detail
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics GP (desirable)
• Confident communicator with the ability to work across teams
• Highly organised, deadline driven, and able to manage multiple priorities
