Engineering Technician

Xpert Recruitment is recruiting for an Engineering Technician on behalf of a leading manufacturing company based in Stone. This is a fantastic opportunity for a multi-skilled, mechanically biased engineer to join a fast-paced production environment, supporting both machinery and site maintenance. Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm rotating Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
• Minimise downtime and support production efficiency
• Perform routine plant and facility checks
• Respond quickly to breakdowns
• Assist with new installations and upgrades
• Maintain accurate maintenance records
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations

Requirements:

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Mechanically biased, multi-skilled engineer
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Must have the ability to read electrical drawings (
• City & Guilds or apprenticeship (preferred)
• Flexible and reliable with a proactive attitude

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork
• Computer literate
• Hands-on, practical approach
• Able to work at height when required
