Financial Controller - Family Office Advisory Property & InvestmentsLocation: LondonA unique opportunity has arisen for a high-calibre Financial Controller to join a privately owned advisory business supporting a prominent international family office. Acting as a strategic partner to a highly successful property entrepreneur, the business oversees a diverse and growing portfolio of real estate, private investments, and complex international structures. This is a rare chance to operate at the heart of a sophisticated investment platform with global reach. You'll take ownership of financial operations across a multi-entity, multi-jurisdictional structure, working closely with senior stakeholders and external advisors in a unique, high-trust environment.The RoleThis is a broad and commercially engaging position, combining technical excellence with real exposure to investment activity and strategic decision-making.Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading financial reporting across UK and offshore entities
  • Managing reporting across a complex international group structure
  • Partnering on investment activity, including property and private assets
  • Overseeing cashflow, treasury, and banking relationships
  • Liaising with offshore administrators and professional advisors
  • Supporting governance, controls, and board-level reporting
You'll play a pivotal role in bringing clarity and control to a dynamic and evolving structure.The Environment

About YouYou're a technically strong and commercially aware finance professional who thrives in complex, high-value environments.The ideal candidate would be:
  • A qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA) with an audit background
  • Experience in family office, private investment, or complex group structures
  • Strong understanding of multi-entity and multi-jurisdictional reporting
  • Exposure to property or asset-backed businesses (preferred)
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to operate with discretion and build trusted relationships
