Risk Assistant

You'll gain in-depth hands-on experience working directly with the Chief Risk Officer in a fast-growing insurance group.

Day to day, you'll be supporting the Chief Risk Officer and compliance team, helping to keep everything running smoothly and accurately. You'll be involved in a wide range of activities that will deepen your knowledge and position you for the next step in your career.

Key areas you'll work on include:

• Researching and drafting risk reviews for member firms
• Issuing annual risk reviews to Appointed Representatives (ARs)
• Assisting in Risk Control Self Assessments
• Quality checking data in Complaints, Breaches, Advertising and Financial Promotions logs
• Helping to submit CF1 applications and update FCA register details
• Preparing Risk Committee and Management Information (MI) packs
• Supporting regulatory monitoring and compliance communications to ARs
• Assisting with compliance policy reviews, AR training and data protection breach management
• Contributing to product governance reviews and fair value documentation

• Financial Services qualifications or training, with at least 5 years' experience in compliance or risk
• Strong understanding of FCA handbooks and ability to review and draft compliance policies
• Confident working with senior stakeholders and managing multiple priorities
