SEN Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching are seeking experienced and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join a Good Ofsted-rated Special Educational Needs School located in the Ringwood area.
The school provides specialist education and care for pupils aged 625 years with Complex Learning Difficulties & Associated Needs, including:

• Autism (ASD)
• Speech & Language Disorders
• Challenging Behaviour

You will be joining a committed and nurturing team who work together to ensure every pupil can excel within a supportive, pupil-centred environment.

Role Details:

• Location: Ringwood, Hampshire
• Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
• Type of Work: Supporting students with Autism & Learning Difficulties
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract: Temporary/Permanent
• Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
• Pay Rate: From 104.00 per day

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

• Previous TA experience is preferred, ideally within SEN, but not essential if you have the right attitude and passion.
• A genuine interest in supporting children with ASD, Aspergers and Complex Needs.
• Proactive, positive, energetic, and confident engaging in classroom activities.
• Willingness to undertake personal care responsibilities when required

Eligibility Requirements:

• Right to Work in the UK.
• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
• Two professional, child-related references
