1Four1 Recruitment is currently recruiting Support Workers to work within supported living services across Somerset and surrounding areas.

This role involves supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in a supported living environment. You will be working with individuals who may have conditions such as autism, epilepsy, cerebral palsy and Down s syndrome, helping them live as independently as possible while maintaining dignity and choice in their daily lives.

As a Support Worker, no two days are the same. You will support individuals with everyday activities, community engagement and personal care while working closely with a dedicated care team to provide safe, person-centred support.

Key Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living activities in a supported living environment
• Assist with personal care where required
• Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing
• Support individuals with social activities, outings and community engagement
• Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans
• Work collaboratively with the wider support team to ensure high standards of care
• Provide compassionate and respectful support tailored to individual needs

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Support Worker, Care Assistant or Healthcare Assistant
• Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities or complex needs
• Comfortable supporting individuals with personal care where required
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, compassionate and able to work well as part of a team
• Able to work the advertised shift patterns
