Job Description

Working at a busy exam centre in central Birmingham, a short walk from New Street. The centre is very busy and operates seven days a week. They are looking for a steward to join them on a casual contract to help out on an ad-hoc and casual basis over the next few months

This would suit a student who is available 2-3 days per week including weekends

You will be working as a Steward and duties will involve:

  • Meeting and greeting candidates as they arrive for their exam
  • Escorting them through the exam centre
  • Ensuring they arrive at designated exam room at the right time
  • Adhering to social distancing at all times

About you

  • experienced in a customer service roles such as hospitality or retail
  • have excellent communication skills and able to liaise effectively with a wide range of people
  • excellent time management skills
  • ability to interact with people from a wide range of backgrounds
  • comfortable working in a face to face customer environment
  • could suit a student

Typical shift time is 8:15am - 4:45pm
Rate of pay is £12.60 per hour
