Duties
- Lead and supervise care staff to ensure the delivery of exceptional person-centered care
- Develop, implement, and regularly review indiviualised care plans tailored to residents' needs
- Oversee medication administration in accordance with healthcare regulations and best practices
- Monitor residents' health status and coordinate with healthcare professionals as needed
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and organisational policies related to care provision
- Provide leadership in dementia and Alzheimer's care programmes, ensuring specialised support is delivered effectively
- Facilitate training programmes for staff on topics such as dementia care, medication management, and health & safety procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident records and care activities
- Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and external healthcare providers to promote holistic wellbeing
- Proven experience working within assisted living
- Extensive knowledge of dementia and Alzheimer's care techniques and best practices
- Demonstrable management or supervisory experience within a care home or home care setting
- Strong understanding of medication administration protocols and healthcare regulations
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide multidisciplinary teams
- Experience in developing and managing personalised care plans for diverse resident needs
- Familiarity with legal requirements surrounding eldercare, including safeguarding procedures
