Panel Builder

As a Panel Builder:

You will work on new and refurbished resistance welding machines that are supplied to a wide range of clients from within the automotive industry.

• Receive and strip down of used welding machines in readiness for dispatch to the sand blasters
• Receive back the freshly powder coated outer case to begin the process of re-building
• Build the required welding machine to the companies, or client's specification
• This will include mechanical / electrical wiring work
• All jigs, fixtures and drawings are supplied
• All parts are produced / machined in-house

Qualifications / Key Skills:

• Apprenticeship in associated field or adequate experience
• Working knowledge of various types of welding machines an advantage
• Ability to work under instruction and on own initiative
• Electrical experience or qualifications preferred; mechanical knowledge required
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work safely and adhering to health and safety protocols Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team or independently
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction, electrical, or mechanical trades are desirable
