£34K + 17.5% shift allowance

My client is a global leader in their field, providing secure products and services across the financial sector, based in the UK and Ireland.

We have an opening for a rotation-based Electro-Mechanical Engineer to join my client's Engineering Team to work on planned maintenance and reactive breakdown and repair of Production equipment.

You will be comfortable with lone working within a secure environment, customer facing, and the only representative of my client on the site.

The electro-mechanical engineer will be required to work with the other engineer on rotating weekly shifts (06:00 - 14:00 and/or 07:00 - 15:00 Monday to Friday) and be involved with the servicing, repair and physical installation requirements on site.

Electro-Mechanical Engineer Position Requirements

• Formal Electrical/Mechanical qualification desired.
• Experience carrying out fault finding on electrical circuits (inc. single phase HV kit)
• Mechanical maintenance experience essential (motors, gears, encoders, bearings, clutches, etc.)
• In-depth control systems knowledge and understanding highly desirable
• Computer literate - Windows, excel, word etc. A knowledge of DOS would be advantageous but not essential.
