Senior Civil Engineer

We're working with a forward-thinking consultancy that is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to strengthen their Christchurch team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to step up into a more senior role, taking on greater responsibility for design delivery, mentoring, and client liaison.

• Leading the preparation of highway and drainage designs for S104, S38 and S278 applications
• Producing and checking technical outputs, including drawings, reports and calculations
• Delivering drainage strategies, SuDS design and Flood Risk Assessments
• Supporting and mentoring junior engineers, reviewing work and providing guidance
• Managing projects with moderate supervision, ensuring quality and timely delivery
• Liaising with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders
• Staying up to date with industry trends, standards and best practice

• Around 5+ years' UK consultancy experience in highways/drainage design
• Proficient in Civil 3D, Causeway Flow / MicroDrainage, AutoCAD
• Experience with approvals processes (S104, S106, S38, S278)
• Strong project management and client-facing skills
• Progressing towards, or already holding, Chartered status (ICE/CIHT)
• Collaborative, proactive and motivated to grow with the business

• £47,000 - £56,000 salary (DOE)
