We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Salaried GP tojoin our dynamic PCN team, working alongside four practices within OrmskirkPrimary Care Network (PCN). This role offers a unique opportunity to experienceboth PCN level working and practice working, providing high-quality GP-relatedactivities and contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient care.
You will be within 2 years of GP qualification and will havethe opportunity to enjoy a fulfilling role as a member of our team. We willconsider applications for between 6-8 sessions, with a start date of as soon aspossible.
The salary will be £9,150 per session.

Main duties of the jobYou will be working as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the West Lancashire population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract.
Furthermore, the post-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice, contributing to the effective management of the PCN, leading by example, maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multidisciplinary team.
This role ensures high standards of patient care, promoting health, and improving outcomes through collaboration, innovation, and ongoing development.

Employment will be with Out of Hours West Lancashire CICLimited (OWLS). We host roles on behalf of the three West Lancashire PrimaryCare Networks (PCNs) and their member practices.

OWLS is a small GP owned and led not-for-profit primary careorganisation run by GPs and health professionals. As a not-for-profitorganisation all the money we generate through service contracts is reinvestedin providing patient care.
We were founded in the 90s by a small group of GPs toprovide high quality out of hours services. In 2017, we became the WestLancashire GP Federation. The Federation supports and provides services forWest Lancashire GP practices and provides a vehicle to bid for and provideinnovative primary care services.
