About The Role: Shift patterns:

19:00pm - 07:00am (occasional day shifts)

Role Overview:

OCS Security is seeking a professional and proactive Security Officer / Weighbridge Operator to join our team. This hybrid role is critical to maintaining the safety, compliance, and operational flow of our site. You'll be responsible for securing the premises through CCTV monitoring and mobile patrols, while also managing weighbridge operations and contractor access.

Key Responsibilities: Security Operations:

• Conduct regular mobile patrols to ensure site integrity and deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor CCTV systems and respond to incidents in real time.
• Control access points and verify credentials of staff, visitors, and contractors.
• Complete detailed incident and patrol reports in line with company procedures.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies professionally and efficiently.

Weighbridge Control:

• Operate weighbridge systems to accurately record vehicle weights.
• Ensure all vehicles entering and exiting the site are logged and compliant.
• Liaise with drivers and contractors to coordinate deliveries and collections.
• Maintain accurate records and report any discrepancies or issues.

Contractor & Visitor Management:

• Register and brief contractors and visitors upon arrival.
• Issue access passes and ensure compliance with site safety protocols.
• Maintain a professional and helpful presence at the site entrance.

Requirements:

• Valid SIA license (Security Industry Authority).
• Drivers license.
• Previous experience in security or weighbridge operations preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Basic IT skills for operating CCTV and weighbridge software.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts across days, nights, and weekends.
