We are currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Drama Graduate to work as a SEN Teaching Assistant in a thriving "Outstanding" Special School located in Islington.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Drama Graduate who is keen to gain hands-on experience in a Special School setting, particularly within the SEN sector. Working alongside experienced professionals, you will receive on-the-job education and training to help you develop the skills required for a future career in education, therapy, youth work, or the arts.
The Role:
- Based in a supportive SEN school in Islington
- Assisting children with a range of learning and behavioural needs through "Skills for Life" activities
- Using drama and creative expression to support communication and build confidence
- Working closely with SENCOs, teachers, and external professionals
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to children with ASD
Ideal Candidate:
- Recent Drama Graduate
- Passionate about inclusive education and creative learning
- Previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
- Eager to receive education and training in the field of SEN
- Able to commit to a full-time role in Islington
