Private Family Solicitor to join its dedicated team. The firm prides itself on delivering high-quality, client-focused advice and fostering a supportive environment for its staff.
The Role The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of
Private Family matters, including:
- Divorce and financial remedy work
- Pre- and post-nuptial agreements
- Cohabitation contracts and TOLATA matters
- Private children issues
- Non-molestation and occupation orders
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with a strong background in Private Family law who is confident running files
from inception to conclusion and providing exceptional client care.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively manage a personal caseload of Private Family matters
- Draft pleadings, agreements, and other legal documentation accurately and efficiently
- Liaise sensitively with clients and provide clear, practical advice
- Attend client meetings, oversee execution of documents, and maintain excellent client relationships
- Work collaboratively with colleagues while contributing to business development initiatives and networking opportunities
- Keep fully up to date with relevant legislation, case law, and best practice standards
Candidate Requirements- Qualified Solicitor with 2-5 years PQE in Family Law
- Strong experience in privately funded matrimonial work, including divorce, finances, cohabitation disputes, civil partnerships, and pre/post-nuptial agreements
- Experience handling non-molestation/occupation orders and private children matters
- Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, third parties, and referrers
- Strong technical ability to provide sound legal advice both orally and in writing
- Confident, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Highly organised with attention to detail and strong time management skills
- Competent in case management software and Microsoft Office tools
