Are you a talented Family Solicitor or CILEX with 2-5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE)? Our client, a highly regarded law firm, is seeking an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join their expanding Family Law team. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage your own caseload while contributing to the growth of a department that is known for its commitment to high-quality legal service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage your own client base, inheriting an existing caseload while actively seeking to develop new work.
  • Work collaboratively with the Family Partner and the wider team to support complex family law matters.
  • Participate in business development activities to drive growth within the Family Law department.
  • Offer guidance and supervision to junior members of the team, fostering their professional development.
  • Maintain excellent client service standards and cultivate strong relationships with clients.

Experience and Attributes Required:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in family law, particularly with high net worth clients or complex cases.
  • A passion for modern approaches to family law and a commitment to helping families in constructive ways.
  • Membership of Resolution is advantageous, with mediation or collaborative training preferred but not essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, consistently meeting deadlines and managing competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook, along with experience using case management systems.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • First-class communication and interpersonal skills, with an entrepreneurial flair for business development.

Work Type:

While this role will focus on your specific areas of expertise within family law, a broad knowledge across all private Family Law matters is essential, including:

  • Divorce and separation
  • Financial matters
  • Children matters
  • Pro-active family agreements, including nuptial and cohabitation agreements
