Teacher of English

We are working closely with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school on the Fylde Coast who are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an English teacher who is committed to inspiring a love of literature and language, and who wants to make a real impact on students' learning and progress.

The Role

• Teaching English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4
• Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons
• Marking and assessing in line with school policies
• Supporting students of varying abilities, including SEND
• Contributing positively to the wider department and school community

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching English in a UK secondary school
• Strong classroom management skills
• Passionate about English and student progress
• ECTs and experienced teachers are both encouraged to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
