Neighbourhood Housing Officer Neighbourhood Housing Officer - £27 per hour (Umbrella) - Full-Time ContractWe are currently recruiting for a Neighbourhood Housing Officer on a full-time contract paying £27 per hour (Umbrella).This Neighbourhood Housing Officer role offers an immediate start and the opportunity to manage your own housing patch within a busy local authority setting.If you are an experienced Neighbourhood Housing Officer with strong housing management and ASB experience, we would like to hear from you.Job Summary As a Neighbourhood Housing Officer, you will deliver a proactive and resident-focused housing management service across estates and neighbourhoods. The Neighbourhood Housing Officer will act as the key point of contact for residents, managing tenancy sustainment, anti-social behaviour cases, estate inspections and early intervention support.This Neighbourhood Housing Officer role requires confidence in tenancy enforcement, safeguarding awareness and the ability to manage a varied caseload independently.Key Responsibilities

• Managing a defined housing patch as a Neighbourhood Housing Officer
• Investigating and resolving ASB and nuisance cases
• Supporting vulnerable tenants and making appropriate referrals
• Taking proportionate tenancy enforcement action where required
• Conducting estate and block inspections
• Working closely with internal teams and external partners
• Maintaining accurate case records and performance data

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Neighbourhood Housing Officer
• Strong knowledge of housing legislation and tenancy management
• Experience managing ASB cases
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload
• Excellent communication and resident engagement skills

Rate: £27 per hour (Umbrella)Contract: 3-6 monthsStart Date: ASAP
