13.18 per hour, 8:00am - 4:00pm, Early Friday Finish , Overtime x1.5, Weekly Pay , Full Product Training Provided
A Mechanical Sub Assembler is needed to join an international, market-leading engineering business that is at the forefront of its industry. With significant recent investment in the site and a strong order book, this is a secure and stable opportunity within a well-managed and supportive team environment.
The Mechanical Sub Assembler role is varied and hands-on, offering full product training and long-term development.
As a Mechanical Sub Assembler, you will:
- Assemble shafts and driveline sub-assemblies
- Read and interpret basic engineering drawings
- Use hand tools and assembly equipment
- Work both independently and as part of a production team
- Follow quality and safety standards at all times
This position would suit someone currently working as a Mechanical Fitter, Bench Fitter, Vehicle Fitter, Hydraulics Engineer etc.
We Would Welcome People to Apply Who Have:
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly
- The ability to read basic engineering drawings
- Good attention to detail
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
