An established and growing manufacturing business is looking for an experienced CAD Draughtsman to join their technical team based in Kidderminster.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded draughtsperson who enjoys turning complex design concepts into accurate manufacturing drawings, supporting a business known for quality, precision, and innovation in bespoke metal fabrication.

The Role
Working within a collaborative design and production team, you will:

• Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings for fabrication using AutoCAD (and/or SolidWorks).
• Interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
• Liaise with engineers, project managers, and fabricators to ensure design intent is achieved.
• Support design modifications, technical queries, and project documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and ensure compliance with standards.

The Candidate
We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience within fabrication, metalwork, or architectural steelwork environments.
• Is proficient in AutoCAD (experience with SolidWorks or other CAD packages beneficial).
• Possesses strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately to deadlines.
• Can interpret and develop fabrication drawings with minimal supervision.
• Has a good understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and tolerances.
