Job Description
Our client, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their established commercial team based in Aberdeen. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected civil engineering and construction contractor delivering infrastructure and groundworks projects across the North East of Scotland.
The Role The Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in managing the commercial performance of multiple projects, ensuring strong cost control and contractual compliance from pre-contract stage through to final account.

Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and management of cost plans, valuations, and final accounts
- Procurement and commercial management of subcontractor packages
- Monitoring project budgets and producing cost forecasts
- Contract administration and change management
- Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities
- Providing commercial support to operational teams
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
- Experience within civil engineering, infrastructure, or groundworks
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (NEC experience advantageous)
- Excellent negotiation and commercial management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
