Maths Teacher
Location: Basildon
Salary: 180 - 298 per day
Start: January 2025
Contract Type: Long-term/Permanent

Responsibilities of a Maths Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 & A-Level, ensuring all students reach their full potential.
- Plan and prepare effective lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and curiosity.
- Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and staff development programs.
The successful candidate will be:
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and have experience teaching Maths at secondary school level.
- Be passionate about Maths and committed to inspiring students to excel in the subject.
- Have excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Be able to differentiate teaching to cater to all levels of ability, including SEN and EAL students.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to drive progress and innovation within the Maths department.
