Tradewind Recruitment are looking to appoint a KS1 Primary Teacher on behalf of a progressive and inclusive 2-form entry school located in the borough of Barnet.

This London based primary school are looking for a qualified KS1 primary teacher to join them from March, the year group will be decided as part of the interview process. The role will involve some planning due to the nature of the start date being at the start of the academic year.

About the role:

• Prepare and deliver KS1 lessons
• Implement effective and appropriate behaviour management strategies
• Work alongside the Classroom TA to ensure lessons are effective
• Differentiate learning materials to ensure each pupil benefits
• Attend weekly staff meetings

Requirements:

• Must have UK recognised QTS
• Strong understanding of KS1 curriculum
• Have a positive and ambitious attitude to learning
• Have a willingness to enhance the schools ethos
• Able to work effectively with colleagues, children and external agencies
• Must be available full-time and long-term from September
