Corporate Funds Solicitor (Interim)

Our client is a leading international law firm known for delivering high quality transactional and regulatory advice to major asset management clients. Their Funds practice is widely recognised for handling complex restructurings, cross jurisdictional regulatory projects, investment due diligence and day to day support for a broad range of fund structures including private equity and hedge funds.

Working as part of the Transactions Funds team, you will support a broad range of matters encompassing due diligence, M&A, capital markets work, investment funds, restructurings and regulatory issues. This is an interim position suitable for someone with strong corporate or commercial experience who can quickly adapt to new areas of work and operate in a client facing environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering high quality legal work directly for clients
• Scoping and setting up new matters and supervising junior team members
• Supporting partners and senior stakeholders with project management and strategic delivery
• Using legal technology tools, including AI driven tools for due diligence
• Maintaining up to date knowledge in relevant areas of law and contributing to internal know how
• Assisting with pitch materials and business development activity where required
• Liaising confidently with internal stakeholders and external clients on live matters
• Leading certain workstreams with support from Managers when needed

Qualified solicitor in England and Wales or another common law jurisdiction

• Minimum 3 years PQE, ideally with strong corporate or commercial training
• Experience supervising junior team members
• Interest in or exposure to funds or regulatory work
• Strong client handling skills and ability to work in a fast paced, project driven environment
• Clear communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
• Curiosity around legal technology and emerging tools

High quality, complex transactional and regulatory funds work for major asset management clients. You will handle a mix of cross border projects, restructurings, regulatory matters and ongoing operational support, working closely with colleagues across the global network.
