Our client, a well-established children s residential care provider, is seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead their 2-bed Complex Care home, currently rated Outstanding by Ofsted. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of a 2-bed children s home
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and National Minimum Standards
- Maintain a minimum Ofsted rating of Good
- Develop and oversee personalised care plans tailored to each young person
- Recruit, develop and retain a stable, high-performing team
- Promote young people s participation and consultation in their care
- Allocate and support Key Workers to implement care plans effectively
- Manage safeguarding, complaints and child protection matters
- Work in partnership with families, carers and external professionals
- Attend and contribute to care planning and review meetings
- Manage budgets effectively and ensure strong commercial performance
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in residential childcare
- At least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent), or willingness to enrol within 6 months
- Strong knowledge of The Quality Standards, SCCIF and relevant childcare legislation
- Experience supporting children with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties
- Strong leadership, organisational and budget management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
