Corporate Senior Associate (Solicitor)

Our client is a highly respected international legal practice with a major presence in London and Manchester. The firm is known for its cross border expertise, high profile client base and collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to delivering legal services.

You will join one of the largest and most active Corporate groups in the market, advising on a broad mix of corporate and business structuring projects, intra group reorganisations, M&A and private equity matters. The team also advises on LLPs, LLP conversions and European company law.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working on a wide range of technically challenging matters for major multinational and listed clients
• Collaborating closely with colleagues across tax, deals, corporate finance and advisory
• Developing a deep understanding of client business needs and commercial drivers
• Supporting the growth and development of the Corporate practice across the regions
• Handling significant responsibility within high value transactions
• Managing matters under partner supervision and working closely with other fee earners
• Assisting with secondee style support for key clients
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships

• Qualified solicitor in England and Wales or an equivalent common law jurisdiction
• Strong academic background
• Solid general corporate and private company M&A experience

• Experience advising on intra group corporate and business structuring
• Interest in a broad range of corporate work
• Strong client service mindset
• 6 to 7 years PQE or higher
• A team player who can also work independently when required
• Confident and clear communication skills
• Willingness to support business development and networking activity

You will work on high quality, technically challenging corporate matters for major multinational and listed clients, spanning complex multi territory restructurings, intra group reorganisations, M&A and private equity transactions. The role offers genuine variety, avoiding repetitive deal cycles and giving you exposure to a broad mix of corporate disciplines. You will collaborate closely with tax, deals, advisory and other specialists, allowing you to develop a deep commercial understanding and build strong cross functional relationships. You will also take on meaningful responsibility within transactions, support the growth of a major corporate practice and gain opportunities to work with international teams and high profile clients across the network.
