NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking an exceptional and values-driven Interim Director of Estates and Facilities to join our Corporate Management Team at a pivotal time for our organisation and the communities we serve.
Serving a population of 1.3 million people, with a workforce of over 42,000 staff and an annual budget of £4.65 billion, NHSGGC is the largest NHS Board in Scotland. The roleReporting directly to the Chief Executive, the Interim Director of Estates and Facilities will provide strategic and operational leadership across a highly complex and diverse portfolio.
This includes:
You will lead over 3,300 staff and manage an annual revenue budget of approximately £339 million. You will ensure that services are safe, resilient, efficient and financially sustainable, fully aligned to NHSGGC's long-term clinical and organisational priorities.
As a member of the Corporate Management Team, you will contribute to Board-level strategy, governance and decision-making, ensuring that infrastructure and facilities considerations are embedded in service redesign, capital investment and transformation programmes.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be a credible and experienced senior leader, with substantial experience operating at executive or Board level within the NHS or a similarly complex, asset-intensive organisation.
