Sanctuary manages rented and shared ownership homes and supports community initiatives for thousands of customers across England. Our staff help make a real difference to the quality of people's lives.

We have an opportunity for a Scheme Manager to join our Sanctuary Independent Living Service, based in Somerset. The Scheme Manager is an essential role within the team. Working from an office based at the scheme, managing the building and residents. You would be part of a team of 12 scheme managers located in the Southwest reporting to a Housing Officer who works remotely.

• Supporting residents by providing information to promote independence, good health, wellbeing and safeguarding
• Completing mandatory compliance tasks along with health and safety checks
• Reporting and monitoring repairs to conclusion, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed
• Delivering high quality customer service by resolving problems and complaints
• Providing administrative support, including maintaining accurate records in a timely manner
• Completing Sign Ups, Terminations, Settling in Visits
• Covering other schemes as and when required

• Numeracy and literacy to the equivalent of GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths
• Proven experience of working with older people and understanding their individual needs or similar
• Ability to work alone and manage workloads to meet deadlines
• Working knowledge of handling confidential and sensitive information
• Good interpersonal and customer care skills
• Proficient User of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Travel is a requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential

The full time equivalent salary for this role is £25,374 based on 37.5 hours per week rising to £26,159 after 12 months service and subject to satisfactory performance
