SEN/SEMH Teacher - Special School

Salary: £37,869.52 - £50,474 (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent
Location: Crawley, West Sussex

The Role

As an SEN/SEMH Teacher, you will:

  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student

  • Deliver differentiated instruction to support academic, social, and emotional development

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including teaching assistants, therapists, and external professionals to provide holistic support

  • Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to ensure positive outcomes

  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to school reporting and assessment processes

  • Participate in professional development to enhance your skills and stay up-to-date with best practices in SEN/SEMH education

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience in SEN/SEMH

  • Confident in SEN/SEMH teaching methodologies and evidence-based strategies

  • Passionate about working with neurodiverse learners

  • Skilled in building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

  • Comfortable using technology to enhance learning
