Job Description

Our client is currently recruiting for an Operations Manager with multi-site experience to join their growing team. The Operations Manager will ideally have a background from the construction or building merchants or similar sector.

The role will be predominately based in Crawley but with the need to visit other sites once per week.

  • Overseeing a multi-site business
  • Liaising with clients, staff and suppliers
  • Implement and manage processes
  • Contribute to budgets and business plans
  • Identify issues and implement solutions
  • Implement strategies for various departments
  • Hire and train staff
  • Data analysis
  • Sales and marketing
  • Ensure compliance with our H&S policy and best practices
  • Collaborate with various teams to enhance overall business performance

Key Experience for the Operations Manager

  • Operational Management background with experience of managing multiple sites
  • A background from a merchants / construction or similar environment
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Decision making
  • Financial management
  • Leadership
  • IT literate especially in Outlook and Excel
  • Experience working within an office environment
  • Excellent communication skills
