Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Hours: Monday Thursday 7:30am 4:00pm Friday 7:30am 12:30pm
We re currently seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join a well-established automotive manufacturing business based in Bedworth. This ongoing temporary opportunity offers consistent hours, an early finish on Fridays, and the chance to work with a wide variety of specialist production machinery.
The Role
This is a hands-on and varied position where you ll play a vital role in ensuring production runs efficiently and downtime is minimised. You ll be responsible for both reactive and planned maintenance across the site, supporting a busy manufacturing environment.
The position would particularly suit someone who is ideally electrician trained, with strong electrical fault-finding experience, while also being confident supporting mechanical maintenance and general site upkeep when required.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical fault finding, repair, and installation work
Maintenance and repair of production machinery including presses, CNC machines, sewing machinery, and upholstery equipment
Mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting
General site maintenance including basic plumbing and carpentry
Supporting planned preventative maintenance schedules
Responding efficiently to breakdowns to minimise downtime
Contributing ideas for continuous improvement
Working independently and taking ownership of tasks
About You
Ideally electrician trained, with a strong electrical background
Experience within manufacturing or industrial maintenance preferred
Confident working on a range of production machinery and mechanical systems
Willing to support tasks outside your core trade
Practical, proactive, and solution-focused
Able to work independently and as part of a small team
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
