About the Role Our client is looking for a proactive and experienced
Health & Safety Manager to lead their safety strategy and ensure a culture of continuous improvement across all areas of our business. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident professional who thrives on making a real impact and driving positive change.
Key Responsibilities - Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies and management systems.
- Ensure compliance with all current legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to staff and contractors.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the development of preventative measures.
- Provide expert advice to management on all aspects of health, safety, and environmental performance.
- Drive engagement and foster a strong safety culture throughout the organisation.
About You - NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and membership of IOSH (GradIOSH / CMIOSH preferred).
- Proven experience in a Health & Safety management role, ideally within construction / manufacturing / logistics / relevant sector .
- Strong understanding of UK H&S legislation and practical application in the workplace.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- A hands-on, proactive approach with strong problem-solving ability.
