Enterprise Solutions Architect

Title: Enterprise Solutions Architect Type: Permanent, full-time Location: Multiple locations considered (hybrid with occasional travel) Salary: circa £100K Summary

Enterprise Solutions Architect required to lead the architecture and implementation of a scalable Digital Manufacturing capability within a manufacturing / construction environment. The role spans multiple large programmes, including nuclear and modular construction contexts, ensuring ERP, MES, integration, middleware and shopfloor/OT systems operate within a coherent enterprise framework.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern enterprise architecture across digital manufacturing
• Assess the current application and tooling landscape and identify rationalisation opportunities
• Ensure programme-level solutions align to defined enterprise standards
• Define integration and data architecture across ERP, MES, middleware and OT environments
• Contribute to vendor selection and key architectural decisions
• Implement governance controls to avoid system duplication and fragmentation

Required Experience

• Demonstrated Architecture experience within manufacturing, engineering or construction sectors
• Strong expertise across ERP, MES and integration platforms
• Background working across complex, concurrent programmes
• Commercially minded and delivery-oriented
• Comfortable operating independently and driving outcomes

Desirable

• Experience in regulated sectors such as nuclear
• Understanding of digital thread and PLM principles
• Experience consolidating fragmented application ecosystems
