What You'll Do

• Installation of a variety of types of cables (multi-core, single core and coaxial) & electrical systems (junction boxes, fuse panels, consoles, transformers, switches etc.)
• Cable termination and installation of all electrical equipment
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with shipbuilding teams to ensure the timely and efficient completion of electrical installations
• Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards

What You'll Bring

• Modern Apprenticeship - SVQ 3 or equivalent
• Relevant experience in a marine installation or major industrial installation environment
• Understanding all assessments, Risk, PUWER & COSHH
• Understanding of relevant trade drawings
• Knowledge of tag out process and the correct proving dead procedure
• Mounting of electrical equipment & components
• Earthing of equipment and termination of cables to skill standards
