Electrical Technician

I am currently recruiting for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Technician to join a growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong individual with solid experience in electrical design, panel wiring, and fault finding to play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions.

As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the design, build, and testing of electrical systems and control panels. You will work closely with engineers and project teams to ensure projects are delivered accurately, efficiently, and to deadline.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret, read, and produce electrical schematics
• Apply knowledge of relay logic in practical applications
• Carry out panel wiring to a high standard
• Perform fault finding and diagnostics on electrical systems
• Support electrical design activities in line with engineering principles
• Use AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical to produce and amend drawings
• Ensure all work meets technical specifications and quality standards
• Work to project deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

Essential Requirements

• Strong knowledge and understanding of relay logic
• Ability to read and draw electrical schematics
• Relevant Electrical Engineering qualification
• Proven fault finding skills
• Demonstrable panel wiring experience
• Experience using AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical
• A sound knowledge of engineering design principles
• Strong numeracy and IT skills
• Excellent problem-solving ability
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• High level of attention to detail
• Well organised with good communication skills
• Experience using Autodesk Inventor
