Director of Local Government Reorganisation

My Local Authority client in Greater London is looking to appoint a talented Director of Local Government Reorganisation on a Contract basis.

This role provide strategic direction and leadership for the Local Government Reorganisation portfolio of programmes

Local Authority experience is essential

About the role:

Based in Greater London (remote):

• Ensure a safe, legal and well-planned transition to the new operating model, minimising service disruption and maintaining a focus on improved outcomes and long-term sustainability.
• Lead and develop the system Portfolio Management Office and coordinate all programmes and workstreamsworkstreams.
• Set and maintain the strategic roadmaproadmap, critical path and milestones.
• Build effective working relationships with Leaders, Members and Chief Executives.

About you:
You will have the following experiences:

• Extensive experience delivering Local Government transformation / reorganisation.
• Deep PMOPMO experience, including set up and delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
• Local Authority experience is essential.

What's on offer:

• Salary: 1,000+ per day, inside IR35

IR35 negotiable based on experience
